Lukas Podolski has been keen to quit Arsenal since the summer, it has been revealed.
The Daily Star says Podolski would have quit Arsenal last summer if a suitable offer from a big club had come in.
But nothing materialised, so a frustrated Podolski was forced to go public yesterday and issue his 'come and get me' plea at a press conference ahead of Germany's Euro 2016 qualifier against Gibraltar on Friday.
"Of course I'm not happy when I'm not playing.
"I want to be playing and enjoying my football. We'll have to see what happens this winter.
"I'm going to seek talks with my club then, but there's no pressure."
