Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets has entered a self-imposed media ban.
Busquets is furious over the way he's been criticised over his apparent stamp on Real Madrid defender Pepe during the El Clasico.
The midfielder has been slammed by the Madrid press and some Spain teammates, including Real captain Iker Casillas.
Sport says Busquets, fed up with the reaction, has decided not to talk to the media, unless contractually obligated.
The midfielder insists he never deliberately targeted Pepe.
"If Pepe had been stamped on by Busquets, the Portuguese would have facial injuries. And he really did not have a scratch," said a source.
"He has a very clear conscience."
