Daniel Alves has taken aim at the Barcelona management. The fullback concedes he expects to leave Barca when his contract expires in June.

"I've had to put up with a lot this year and this is the reason why I'm speaking out," Alves said in Monday's press conference. "I feel a lack of respect and I have a limit.

"I haven't taken a decision yet.

"I have a few options that I'm considering but I will take a decision after the Champions League final."

Alves' importance to the team club grew with Barca unable to make any signing until 2016 due to a ban imposed by FIFA for breaching rules on the transfer of players aged under 18.

"I know the club didn't want to renew my contract until they found out FIFA's ruling," Alves said. "But I have a value and I've worked for it.

"The club wants me to continue because my performances have improved in the past four months.

"But as of today the situation remains the same as that of last June.

"I have spoken to the club president and I have given him the figures on what I feel is fair for me to continue."

Alves has made 44 appearances this season for the Primera Division champions, including 43 as a starter.

"It's not a case of money, I'm just defending what is mine," he said. "I've always said that I would like to remain at Barca but not at any price.

"I want to be valued for what I've done in this position, which nobody else has done."

The South American, who joined the Catalan outfit in 2008 from Sevilla, has helped Barca win five Primera Division titles, two Copa del Rey trophies and the Champions League twice.

"I feel 200 per cent in the team but just 10 per cent in the club," he said.
