Manchester United are getting a clear run at Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. While Chelsea and PSG have been mentioned as rivals for Ronaldo's signature - should Real choose to sell in 2015 - United are emerging as the Portuguese's one clear option.
Last week, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho shutdown talk of moving for Ronaldo, claiming there was "no chance" of him pulling on a Blues shirt.
And it's been revealed this week that PSG, fearful of Financial Fair Play punishment, have made no attempt for Ronaldo since the end of last season.
A top French source stated: "To our knowledge, PSG has not taken any steps to recruit him. How could they do so with the limitations of Financial Fair Play?"
