FC Zurich coach Bernard Challandes says they were undone against Real Madrid by the "world's best player".
Cristiano Ronaldo struck two goals for Real in their 5-2 win and Challandes said: "I accept the score. Real Madrid have been better and have great players.
"In the first 20 minutes we gave good pressure, but if Kaka, Xabi Alonso and Cristiano Ronaldo are left space, they play well and create goals.
"However, I am going to leave with my head high. You cannot forget that we faced the world's best player tonight (he said referring to Ronaldo)."
