FC Utrecht's Oar enjoying Dutch lifestyle

FC Utrecht young gun Tommy Oar says he is finding the lifestyle in Holland enjoyable.

The 18-year old winger, who joined the Eredivisie club from Brisbane Roar in April, is living with fellow Aussies Michael Zullo and Adam Sarota near the Galgenwaard Stadium and so far things are going well.

"It's a bit different living in a new country but it's been enjoyable," Oar told Australian Football Weekly.

"Us three are living in a house close to the training ground but we've all been enjoying it so far so hopefully that keeps going."

Oar is well aware he is in a very envious position for other young Australian footballers and plans to make the most of the opportunity he has been given.

"When I look at it like that I guess I'm very lucky at how quickly things have happened for me," he added.

"I'm happy with the way things are going but I've just got to keep going. I've just got to keep working hard and try and make good things come of it."
