FC Twente striker Marko Arnautovic is edging closer to his move to Inter Milan. The Austria international has seen the deal stall due to a foot injury, but has revealed he's actually doing his rehab in Milan with Inter's medical staff.

Arnautovic, who has been likened to Inter star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, said: "Everything proceeds at its best, I'm working hard every day. I chose to come to Milan because the medical staff of Inter assured me that I can heal better.

"I trust them and that is why I'm here.

"Have I finally broke with Twente? Not really. They ultimately agreed that it was better if I did my rehab in Milan. The two clubs have not found the definitive agreement for the signature but in a month, I think that again I can finally become a player of Inter.

"After all I have always had clear ideas: I just want to join Inter. I hope that for Inter the same speech applies"
