FC Twente coach Steve McClaren has refused to compare his time as England manager to Fabio Capello's reign.

"I don't know what Capello is doing," he said. "Each manager is different.

"You are dealing with England players, with top professionals who have responsibilities.

"You have to give them a certain amount of trust and responsibility and that is what you do.

"I never felt that was an issue, we never had any disciplinary problems with any player."
