FC Twente chief Tom Boere hopes their success with Manchester City loan players last season will help them in the transfer market.

Enes Unal, particularly, enjoyed an outstanding campaign on-loan from City. The Turkish striker has since signed permanently for Villarreal in a €14 million deal.

Boere enthused: "It certainly worked out well last season.

"More and more people now see Twente as an attractive platform."

The Twente director confirmed they're in talks with City about more loan signings for next season.
