San Jose Earthquakes face a battle to keep hold of on-loan Tottenham striker Simon Dawkins.
Dawkins spent last MLS season on-loan with the Quakes.
But he is now a target for Steve McClaren at FC Twente and is expected to choose to remain in Europe this year.
