Celtic are believed to be targeting FC Twente striker Marc Janko as the transfer deadline approaches.
Hoops chairman Peter Lawwell has been in discussions with the Austrian international's agent and his Dutch club as he strives to complete a deal before midnight tomorrow.
Celtic have snared the services of Polish striker Pawel Brozek from Turkish club Trabzonspor on loan for the remainder of the season but that will not stop them making a move for Janko according to reports.
However, the Hoops will have competition from Premier League clubs Fulham and Stoke City, as well as FC Porto, who are also believed to be showing interest.
