Emile Mpenza is hopeful that Getafe revive their interest in him this January.

The former Manchester City and Plymouth Argyle striker is currently playing in Switzerland with FC Sion.

However, his agent, Laurent Dechaux, revealed to Futbol Mercado: "Emile is happy in Sion and scores a lot goals. But he has a moral agreement with the club to leave Switzerland if there is a good opportunity.

"He's never played in Spain and dreams of playing there. He had some contact with Getafe last summer and would be interested in any club that plays in the Liga."
