FC Seoul have conjured the unlikely and defeated reigning Asian champions Gamba Osaka to book a place in the round of 16 in the Asian Champions League.
The Korean club needed to win and were relying on lowly Sriwijaya to defeat Shandong Luneng.
At kick-off it seemed a daunting task but the Seoul players had belief although they found themselves 1-0 down deep into the second half.
Gamba's 17-year old starlet Takashi Usami capped his professional debut with a goal in the 62nd minute but Seoul were not to be denied and levelled ten minutes later.
Serbian striker Dejan Damjanovic netted from inside the area, giving the visitors hope which then became a reality when the match again turned in stoppage time.
Kim Han-yoon was able to slot home for Seoul to complete a brilliant comeback and progress to the next phase.
The surprise result in the Sriwijaya versus Shandong Luneng match (4-2 to the former), enabled Seoul to jump to second place in Group F and book a clash with Kashima Antlers in the round of 16.
