Adelaide United has been linked with FC Koln midfielder Thomas Broich. The 28-year olds agent sent the A-League club a DVD of his highlights and he is believed to be very interested in moving to Australia after falling love with the country whilst on holiday last year.

Broich is a former Germany U21 representative and has also had stints with German clubs Borussia Monchengladbach, SV Wacker Burghausen and SpVgg Unterhaching.
