MLS clubs FC Dallas and Toronto FC are showing interest in Trinidad & Tobago international Kerry Baptiste.
The captain of T&T club Joe Public FC has attracted attention from both North American clubs as well as English Championship outfit Ipswich Town after scoring a record 48 goals last season.
The 28-year old has been invited to trial with both Dallas and Toronto but his agent feels a proper contract is a more deserving reward.
"FC Dallas and Toronto FC are both interested in Baptiste and have welcomed trials for the player. However we feel that Baptiste has done extremely well and deserves a contract," said Andre Fortune of Sports Management Group.
"So at the moment, we are working on getting him a contract."
