FC Dallas midfielder Dax McCarty has re-signed with the club.
Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman announced the news but could not divulge the terms of the deal because of league policy.
“Dax was a key member of the team this season and a vital part of the successful late-season run we had,” said Hyndman.
“Ensuring Dax would be in a FC Dallas uniform next season was a top priority for us.”
The 22-year old was the sixth pick in 2006 MLS SuperDraft as a Generation adidas player andhas spent all four years of his Major League Soccer career with FC Dallas. In 2009, he started 27 of 28 games, scoring three goals and delivering six assists, both single-season career highs.
