FC Dallas have officially announced the signing of Milton Rodriguez from Real Cartagena.

The 34-year old Colombian striker has spent almost his entire career in his homeland, except for short stints in Korea with Jeonbuk Motors and Australia with the Newcastle Jets, and has now been snapped up by Dallas, although terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A left-footed striker, Rodriguez has netted close to 150 goals at league level and Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman was delighted he had committed to the club.

"Milton is a very good striker who has a deep and rich resume," said Hyndman. "He is a goal scorer who has the ability to create goals for his teammates as well as hold the ball in the attacking third. He will be a very good addition to FC Dallas."
