FC Dallas midfielder Brek Shea had a small tear in the Meniscus of his right knee repaired yesterday. Dr. Virgil Medlock of Orthopaedic Associates of Dallas performed the surgery. Shea is expected to be ready for the team's pre-season training in February.

Shea appeared in 19 games for FC Dallas during the 2009 season, making seven starts and tallying four assists.
