Match Fit USA has learned that Mexican legend Jorge Campos may be under consideration for FC Dallas' newly created Technical Director position.
Campos has had contact with the club in regards to the position after general manager Michael Hitchcock was let go this week.
Campos retired in 2004 after a distinguished playing career, including stints with the LA Galaxy and Chicago Fire, and was on Ricardo Lavolpe's staff during Mexico's 2006 World Cup effort.
He currently does periodic television work for TV Azteca. He was spotted at the Cotton Bowl for Mexico's match with Columbia, a game that was the second half of a doubleheader; FC Dallas took on New England in the first game.
