Even though his team suffered a 1-0 loss to Houston Dynamo on Saturday night at Robertson Stadium, FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman is encouraged by his team's defensive performance.

"We spent nine days of training sessions on defence in the last few weeks realizing that we've been giving up two goals a game and that some of the goals are soft goals or were just due to bad decisions," Hyndman said.

"Our defence held up fairly well except for the tremendous leaping ability shown by (Kei) Kamara (on his goal). ... To play in Houston with the players they have and how much they press you, I thought our defence held up pretty well and put us in a great position."
