FC Dallas have added Honduran attacking midfielder Marvin Chávez to their playing squad.
The 25-year old Honduras international will officially join the team from Deportivo Marathon pending a medical exam and receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P1 work visa.
"Marvin Chávez is a player that adds depth to our attacking options, and I think he'll be a good fit for our system," said FC Dallas Head Coach Schellas Hyndman.
"He's a very athletic and versatile player that can play in both the forward and attacking midfield position."
Chávez has earned 18 caps with the Honduran national team, making appearances in World Cup qualifying, the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup and various friendlies. He recorded his first international goal in this year's UNCAF Nations Cup against El Salvador.
