German newspaper Express suggests that FC Cologne's veteran Colombian goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon could be head to New York Red Bulls.

The 39-year old joined the German club from Turkey's Galatasaray in 2007 but reports say that he could be on his way out early next year.

Mondragon, who has also played for Argentinos Juniors, Independiente, Real Zaragoza and Metz amidst his 50 international caps, has not played for Cologne since early October with manager Michael Meier preferring Croatian Miro Varvodic in goal.
