FC Cologne will insist on a number of bonus payments from Arsenal over their sale of Lukas Podolski.
Express says Cologne will receive an extra 500,000 should the 26-year-old help Arsenal win the Premier League or Champions League during his four-year deal.
Arsenal are understood to have agreed a £,10.9 million fee with Cologne for Podolski.
