North Queensland Fury are chasing FC Basel winger Scott Chipperfield.
Sources close to Fury owner Don Matheson have told tribalfootball.com that they've been locked in negotiations with Chipperfield for over two months about a return to Australia for the left-sided midfielder.
Chipperfield has also been linked with Sydney FC, but it understood to be keen on a move to North Queensland.
