FC Ashdod owner Jacky Ben-Zaken has confirmed star midfielder Nir Biton is training with Tottenham.

The 20 year-old Israel had been doing his preseason with Manchester City before Spurs made their move.

"It is not a case of Nir being on trial," Ben-Zaken told the Daily Mail. "He is training with Tottenham and having a look at them, and we will see what develops. But he also did well at City, when he spent time with them, and they are still a possibility."
