Faye rejects treble-your-money Bolton offer for Newcastle move

Newcastle United are set to wrap up the signing of Bolton Wanderers midfielder Abdoulaye Faye this week.

The People says Faye has turned down a new deal at Bolton - worth THREE times his current wages - and is set to sign for Newcastle United this week in a £2million deal.

The Senegalese midfielder, 29, was given the chance to treble his Reebok terms and move up to around £20,000- a-week at Sammy Lee's club. But Faye, who verbally agreed the deal then changed his mind, will head for a reunion with former Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce.
