Alejandro Faurlin hopes to secure a new contract with QPR.
The midfielder comes off contract next month.
He told the Fulham Chronicle: "Promotion is a plus to everyone, and I'm hopeful we can sit and down and talk.
"I'm settled in west London and I want to get fully fit.
"I'm going home to Argentina to see family and friends. But maybe, he (agent) can make some pressure to Tony (Fernandes, chairman) and come up with a new contract."
