Faurlin admits QPR players must dig out win for Hughes

Alejandro Faurlin has jumped to the defence of QPR boss Mark Hughes.

QPR are anchored to the bottom of the Premier League after a miserable start to the season.

Faurlin said: "We've worked hard in training but I feel we have let down the manager a little bit.

"It's disappointing and frustrating when you see the table. We don't like to be at the bottom but we just have to look ahead and try to win the next game.

"We knew it would take time to get to know each other but obviously you never think you will have such a negative run. But we are a strong group with some good players and if we work hard then we will get results. Now we have to be brave and try to beat Everton."
