QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury in their FA Cup draw with MK Dons.

He took to his Twitter account on Sunday evening to confirm the worst.

"I just wanna let u know guys, its bad news for me I have rupture of the ACL,I'm out for the rest of the season! Really disappointed sad!" he posted.

"Things never been easy for me! But for sure I will be back stronger!!I accept this test as professional and person as well!!"
