Paul Faulkner has reportedly left Nottingham Forest following the sacking of Stuart Pearce.
Former Aston Villa chief Faulkner is believed to have resigned as Nottingham Forest chief executive after Pearce was sacked by owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi and replaced by Dougie Freedman, says the Daily Mail.
It is understood Faulkner was not consulted over the appointment of Freedman, and the former Aston Villa supremo walked out.
Forest are now 12th in the Championship.
