Sports finance expert Roger Faulkner is being linked with a takeover of Derby County.
Faulkner, 65, is a lifelong Rams fan and ex-business partner of Jimmy Hill. He has been in the US since 1977.
He told The Sun: "I am acting for a group from the US and Derby are interested in getting extra investment."
