Fredy Montero's father has confirmed that the Seattle Sounders star will join Millonarios on loan.
It was reported last week that the 25-year old Colombian forward would be heading home for a six-month spell but the players dad, Fredy Senior, revealed Antena 2 that it could be for a year.
"Tonight, we'll have a dinner at home to bid farewell to Fredy," Montero Snr told the Colombian radio network.
"[Millonarios] were defining if [the loan] was going to be for six months, but it will finally be for a year."
Montero will travel to Bogota on Wednesday to complete the signing of temporary agreement before the end of the week.
