Inter Milan director general Marco Fassone says they plan to hold new contract talks with coach Walter Mazzarri.

Despite contrary reports, Fassone insists they're happy with Mazzarri's work this season.

"We asked the coach to lead the team as high as possible and he is doing a great job and, as I said, we are planning with him a foundation for the future.

"Mazzarri will share in this. A renewal? We'll talk about that too."
