Inter Milan chief Marco Fassone says Roberto Mancini is the right coach for the club.

Fassone has likened Mancini to former Juventus boss Antonio Conte.

"Conte won immediately [at Juventus], becoming an icon," he said. "I hope Roberto can do the same in a short period of time.

"He was clear when he came that he didn't want to be a transitional Coach, but someone who means to win as early as possible, and bring Inter back into the Champions League."
