Former Aston Villa and Wimbledon striker John Fashanu has slaughtered Liverpool firebrand Luis Suarez. Writing in the Daily Star Sunday, Fash the Bash didn't hold back:
"... the type of rat I'm talking about is one of those monster rodents that nobody loves or wants near them.
"The sort that bites for no reason and will jump ship at the first sign it is sinking.
"Yes, you've guessed it, I'm on about Luis Suarez, the Uruguay and Liverpool striker, who has served two lengthy bans since coming to England.
"First, he racially abused Patrice Evra - eight-match ban and a £40,000 fine.
"Second, he sank his teeth into Branislav Ivanovic - ten-match ban.
"And, as if that was not bad enough, he spends all summer publicly trying to ditch his club because they are not in the Champions League.
"Not any old club, either. It's the mighty Liverpool, who have stuck by him despite his appalling antics.
"What a nasty piece of work."
