Fascetti delighted for Sampdoria striker Cassano over Italy success
Antonio Cassano's long time mentor Eugenio Fascetti is delighted with the Italy return of the Sampdoria striker.
Cassano was frozen out for two years under Marcello Lippi, but has become the key figure in Cesare Prandelli’s vision.
“I am very happy for him,” ex-Bari Coach Fascetti told Sky Sport Italia.
“He is making up for lost time and proving his detractors wrong in impressive fashion. For him the return to the Nazionale is important, but above all deserved.”
