Faroe Islands champs warn Man City

Faroe Islands champions EB/Streymur are convinced they can upset Manchester City in their UEFA Cup qualifier.

Their ground, Vio Margair, has a capacity of 1,000 and high fences at one end to prevent the ball going into the Atlantic Ocean, though the first leg, on July 17, is likely to be switched to the national stadium in Torshavn, which holds 6,000.

"What can they expect?" said EB director Roland Hojsted. "They can expect to lose! City were our No 1 choice, and the excitement heading into the draw is all the greater now we know they are our opponents."
