Farina ponders loaning Moore to A-League rivals

Brisbane Roar coach Frank Farina is toying with the idea of loaning veteran defender Craig Moore to a rival A-League club. Farina says he may loan Moore out at the end of the next A-League season so he continue playing in the lead up to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory are the teams Farina has named as they will be competing in the Asian Champions League when the 2009/10 A-League season finished up in February and it will give Moore the best of chance of securing a spot in Pim Verbeek's squad.

"He must play on," Farina said.

"There's options, he could possibly go on loan to Asia or, who knows, Melbourne Victory or Adelaide might want to use him for the Champions League.

"It's not as if we'd be playing against them in the Champions League so I wouldn't have a problem with that.

"I'm sure we'll find a solution before season's end."
