DC United fans turned against their own during the 2-0 loss to Chivas USA on the weekend.
The fans made United coach Tom Soehn the subject of their frustrations as the team dropped its third game in a row at home and fell in danger of missing out on the play-offs for the second season running.
Despite a season-high crowd, fans decided to turn against Soehn and call for the club to fire him after he promised a play-off berth this term, but the man in question says he did not hear anything negative against him and is just focusing on the best possible finish for the club.
"You don't hear anything," maintained Soehn. "I'm looking to win a game, that's what I'm looking to do."
DC need to win both the remaining regular season matches to be any chance of making it to the play-offs but still that may not be enough.
