Celtic manager Neil Lennon is in trouble with the Scottish Football Association because of fan complaints from the weekend's 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
SFA compliance officer Vincent Lunny has charged Lennon for allegedly using abusive language directed at Buddies skipper Jim Goodwin after a tackle on Hoops youngster Dylan McGeouch.
Apart from the supporter complaints, TV microphones also caught out Lennon but he insists he will be defending himself especially as his suspended three-match ban from the Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Hearts last season would come into play.
"I think Vincent feels he's obliged to make this charge. I will be defending it as vigorously as I can," he said.
"I can't legislate for something I've said during the course of a game being broadcast live on TV then me getting dragged up for it. If the SFA hadn't made a point of this it would've been forgotten about very quickly.
"It's highlighting something that is pretty trivial."
