New York Red Bulls midfielder Michael Bustamante hit out at Houston Dynamo supporters after his family were confronted and robbed on Sunday.
Bustamante's family were accosted by some Dynamo fans after the 2-2 Eastern Conference semi-final first leg at BBVA Compass Stadium prompting some angry Twitter words from the rookie.
Extremely Upset with the Dynamo Supporters who Confronted and Stole from my family yesterday outside the stadium! — Michael Bustamante (@MBustamante10) November 4, 2013
But later, Bustamante tweeted that the incident had been dealt with by the Houston club and called for the return leg at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday to run without a similar occurrence.
Thanks to the Houston Dynamo Organization together with the NYRB for investigating the incident to find those responsible. — Michael Bustamante (@MBustamante10) November 4, 2013
I understand the incident does not reflect the behavior of ALL Dynamo supporters. Enjoy Wednesday's Match in Peace. #DontCrossTheLine — Michael Bustamante (@MBustamante10) November 4, 2013
