Falkirk player-coach Russell Latapy believes hot prospect Scott Arfield can become a success in the game - provided he hits the net more often. The performances of the 19-year-old Arfield have attracted the attention of a number of Premiership clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea.

And veteran Latapy, whose boots Arfield has filled in the Falkirk team, has tipped the midfielder to make further progress.

"He's at the stage in his career where he needs to put more goals into his game," Latapy told The Scotsman. "I would like to see him getting forward more and putting it into the net."
