With the transfer window now shut Scott Arfield can now concentrate on keeping Falkirk in the SPL. The midfielder was again the subject of speculation towards the end of January with clubs such as Southampton and Huddersfield reported to have made enquiries.
"It's more a relief than anything that it's shut," said Arfield.
"If it's going to happen, it's going to happen but I would rather not even talk about it until it did.
"I'm all right with it, it's my family who are always asking what's happening.
"My mum is up to high doe (worked up) every transfer window that comes about.
"I'm relieved it's finished and I'm still here, and I'm still delighted to be here.
"I wasn't really thinking about going anywhere anyway. The focus has been making sure Falkirk got off the bottom of the league.
"It's up to us to make sure we stay off the bottom."
