Sunderland midfielder Arnau Riera has been handed trials by Falkirk.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been told he can leave Sunderland this summer. He joined the Black Cats on a three-year contract from Barca B last August but the Mallorca-born player made just two appearances for the club - the second being marked by a red card against Bury in the Carling Cup.
