Falkirk striker Farid El Alagui prefers a move to England rather than heading from Falkirk to the Scottish Premier League.
Aberdeen are believed to be very keen on the 27-year old French-born Moroccan, who has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season, but Falkirk have revealed he has his eye on a shift across the border instead.
"There is no problem with them making an approach to Farid.
"But he's been so outstanding for Falkirk we have agreed to do our best to help him fulfil his ambition in his career.
"Apart from scoring 26 goals he's made the same amount as well. His form has attracted interest from bigger clubs and I have no doubt he has the quality to succeed at a higher level.""I have discussed the player with Aberdeen but told them his preference is to move to England," Bairns technical director Alex Smith told Record Sport.
