Falkirk boss John Hughes is eager to secure on-loan Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul to a new extension.

He said: "The problem is I dealt a lot with Lee Clark when he was at Newcastle and he's now moved on to Norwich, so we're trying to open up a new point of contact in at the club to see if we can keep him."
