Falkirk appoint Bullen reserve team manager

Lee Bullen has been appointed Falkirk reserve-team manager by new Bairns boss Eddie May.

May told the club's official web site: "Lee wasn't going to feature in my first-team plans but I have been extremely impressed by his leadership qualities around the club and his desire to work with young players.

"I am delighted that Lee has taken this challenge on board."

Former Sheffield Wednesday captain Bullen added: "It was definitely the route I wanted to take, I am really excited about it.

"I am already fully qualified as a coach, currently I hold my UEFA A Licence. For me this is the first step into coaching and management.

"I never quite made it to the very top as a player, hopefully I will be more successful as a coach."
