Parma defender Giulio Falcone insists no-one is giving up on their relegation battle.
"There's no resignation in our camp," he maintained. "The declarations made by (president Tommaso) Ghirardi are his own thoughts - they weren't rash comments but neither was it a sign of surrender.
"There will be some tension for the game against Genoa and we know that it is a must-win.
"There's no more time for appeals, we just need to go out there and give our all with the right spirit.
"Our fans are a big factor. We are expecting lots of them to turn up to the Tardini and give us their support for the game of our season."
