Falcao eager to have Chelsea impact despite disastrous season on loan

Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is hopeful of finishing his disastrous loan season at Stamford Bridge on a positive note, after returning to full training this week.

The Colombian has managed just nine league appearances for the Blues this campaign, with a persistent thigh injury derailing his season.

However, the Daily Mirror is reporting Falcao is not yet ready to call time on his Premier League career, despite having two years remaining on his contract at Monaco.

It is understood the 30-year-old is hopeful he will be handed a lifeline at Chelsea under Antonio Conte, should the Italian take over the managerial role as expected this summer.

Falcao's representatives reportedly want to speak with Conte before deciding where their client's future lies.
