Failed Rangers move will not shift Juhasz' Anderlecht commitment

Roland Juhasz insists he will remain 100 per cent committed to Anderlecht despite a proposed move to Rangers falling over.

The 28-year old Hungary international was set to leave the Belgian outfit to link up with the Scottish champions but the two clubs were unable to agree a fee and the deal did not go ahead.

Juhasz admits that 'Gers were very keen to sign him but has made it clear that Anderlecht is now his main priority.

"I am 100 per cent focused on Anderlecht," said Juhasz. "I'm still with Anderlecht and I will remain here, that's for sure.

"I am not the type of guy who will fight to get his way. I have the ambition to get into a different league. There was a possibility but that has passed.

"I was angry at first. I have given Anderlecht the last six years but Anderlecht want me - that says something."

"My motivation is not affected. Football is my life. When I come on the pitch, I am always motivated."

He added: "Money is not my first priority now. Rangers manager Ally McCoist wanted to sign me and you can get no better than a club whose manager wants you.

"When you come to play at one of Scotland's top clubs, you are one step closer to the Premier League.

"I have never made a secret of the fact that I will leave (Anderlecht one day). When you think objectively, you can understand that in my 28th year and after six years (at Anderlecht, I will look for something else)."
